Over the past 25 years, Kimberly has collaborated with hundreds of leaders at organizations such as Coca-Cola, Home Depot, the CDC, McKesson, AT&T and even the U.S. Marine Corps – to dramatically improve their business performance. She holds a Master’s in industrial/organizational psychology, as well as multiple certifications, including SHRM-SCP and CPF | Master (see more below).
Prior to founding FireFly over twenty years ago, Kimberly was an organization effectiveness leader for Coca-Cola and the Director of Consulting for the Hay Group. She also served in HR leadership roles in the hospitality, telecommunications and healthcare industries.
In her book, The Firefly Effect (Wiley), Kimberly shares tools, techniques and insights to help every leader build a team that works together creatively and collaboratively for stronger business performance. An expert in the field of team-based innovation, she is a sought-after keynote speaker and contributor to management and leadership publications.
Awards, Certifications & Credentials
Kimberly holds a Master’s in industrial/organizational psychology and has earned the prestigious designations of Certified Professional Facilitator | Master (CPF|Master) and Certified Virtual Facilitator (CVF). She also holds the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and the HRCI Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), which make her a recognized expert and leader in the HR field, proving her high level of knowledge and skills. A recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from SHRM-Atlanta, she served as the 2017-2018 Chair of the Board for this 2500-member chapter.
